(The Words of Jesus are in red)

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except by and through Him. He is the anointed one of God (the Christ), God Himself in the flesh.

John 14:6 KJV - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 3:3 KJV - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:5-6 KJV - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

He is the sacrificial Lamb of God come to take away the sins of the world.

John 3:14-21 KJV - And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

If you call upon the Name of Jesus and repent of your sins, believing that He is The Son of God and that he died for your sins and washes you clean of them, having been raised from the dead then you will be saved.

Jesus was here before the foundation of the world and by and through Him all things were created, yes, even the earth and YOU!

John 1:1-5 KJV - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Jesus loves you! That means that God loves you because Jesus said of Himself,

John 14:9-14 KJV - Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

so that we know that He and the Father are One. This is the same Person, Jesus and Father God (YHWH, Jehovah), and also God the Holy Spirit.

John 14:16-26 - KJV - 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. 21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. 25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

That's where the idea of the Trinity came from. We think about a trinity because we are human and our minds cannot fully comprehend the things of God. In reality there is no trinity because the three persons in one is a human concept. The reality is that the Trinity is all one person according to scripture. The trinity itself is not found in scripture.

Isaiah 55:8-9 KJV - For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD . For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Job 5:9 KJV - Which doeth great things and unsearchable; Marvellous things without number:
Job 11:7 KJV - Canst thou by searching find out God? Canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?
Proverbs 25:2 KJV - It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: But the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
Romans 11:33-34 KJV - O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?

After reading that, you might be asking, can we know God at all? Yes! The scriptures that I have given you above also tells us that we can know God through His Son Jesus Christ. He comes to dwell within us through His Holy Spirit.

John 4:24 KJV - God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Romans 8:9, 16 KJV - But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

You must have the Holy Spirit (The Spirit of God) dwelling within you when you are saved. How do you get Him to dwell within you? ASK Him! That's what happens when you ask forgiveness of your sins and the Lord Jesus to come into your heart and life. Asking Jesus into your heart is not a cliche!

Who exactly killed Jesus? The simple and historical answer is the religious Jews, the Sanhedrin specifically. However that may be the historical answer, the Bible has a much more complicated answer. As I said above, Jesus was the sacrificial Lamb of God. He was the ultimate sacrifice, the last accepted sacrifice to God for the remission of sins. All throughout the Old Testament God commanded the Israelites to sacrifice to Him in order to take away their sins and be acceptable in His sight, to be clean, if you will. This command was essentially what brought on the very first murder in the world, Caine killing Abel because God accepted Abel's sacrifice and Caine was jealous. Instead of going back and bringing another better sacrifice before the Lord he killed his brother Abel thinking that if Abel was gone then God would accept his sacrifice because the competition would be gone. I know, right? Caine definitely was not smart nor did he have the love of God within his heart. Now, Jesus, being the ultimate sacrifice, took away the need for other sacrifices to continue as they had since The Fall in The Garden of Eden. He PAID IT ALL at the Cross of Calvary, the place of the Skull named Golgotha. He died once and for all as the ultimate and last sacrifice for the sins of the world to be washed clean for those who accept Him. He did not come to abolish the Law but to fulfill it.

Matthew 5:17-20 KJV - Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

What is the Law of God? Simply put it is all of God's commands to us to regulate our lives and moral behavior. Specifically He laid out laws to govern us in the Torah, the first five books of the Bible, including and highlighted in the Ten Commandments. When we do not keep God's Law then we have sin in our lives. The law condemns us because the law shows us our sin.

Galatians 3:11 KJV - But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
Romans 3:20-24 KJV - Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
James 2:10 KJV - For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point , he is guilty of all.
Romans 3:23-24 KJV - for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Romans 8:6-8 KJV - For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Jesus took it upon Himself to pay for all of our sins, also the sins of the world, past, present AND future! That's right. Everything that we have done, are DOING, and will do has already been paid for at the Cross. EVERYTHING. When Jesus washes you clean of sin, you are completely clean.

Romans 6:14 KJV - For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

I heard a Christian comedian, Mark Lowry, say that God spreads His Grace like a 4 year old spreads peanut butter, He gets it everywhere! I, personally, have seen Him get some of it on the floor (haha)! His Grace is sufficient for us. It's His Word in action!

2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV - And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Does all of this mean that we can sin all we want to and get away with it? No! Jesus told a lot of people to go and sin no more after he had healed and forgiven them.

John 8:11 KJV - She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
John 5:14 KJV - Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

You might be saying, but I thought that you said that Jesus has paid for everything past, present, and future? That's correct, He did. However, we do have to be mindful of our sin and in order to continue in God's Grace we must repent of our sins on a regular basis even after we get saved by inviting Jesus into our hearts because we still sin. We are still guilty and it is only upon repentance that we are forgiven. You might also be asking, what if we die before we get a chance to repent of the most current thing that we have done? Jesus' blood still has you covered. Repentance is keeping yourself in line with God and His commandments to gain a deeper understanding of Him and Who He is while deepening our relationship with Him. It helps us also to develop and grow in Christ. Also, you will find as your walk in Christ grows stronger that when you repent of your sins that the presence of the Holy Spirit within you grows stronger. God cannot abide where sin is present. He is a HOLY God. Remember that. The presence of sin in your life does not draw you closer to God but turns you away from God. God never walks away from you but you can definitely walk away from Him and sin is a deliberate action in your walking away from Him. It is a slippery slope that no Christian wants to deal with. That's one good reason why we still need repentance. Remember, the Holy Spirit is God Himself dwelling within us. When we feel less of His Spirit within us then that's a signal that we need to renew our minds in Christ as the Apostle Paul tells us to do first of all through repentance, then through communion with Him within us, in other words spending time with him, and getting into His Word the Bible.

Romans 12:2 KJV - And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

It is very important for us to renew ourselves in Jesus daily. That is the essence of a true Christian life. Believe me when I tell you that when you do this it will show by the fruits that you bear!

Matthew 7:15-20 KJV - Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

On my page Get To Know Jesus, I have given you an example of a prayer to pray sincerely if you want to be saved by inviting Jesus into you heart. I'll also give it to you again here:

Father God, Lord Jesus,

I believe that Your Son Jesus died for my sins and rose from the grave to save me. I know that I am a sinner and fall short of Your Glory. I need Jesus in my life and I ask Him and Your Spirit into my heart right now. Forgive my sins and and come into my life. For this, Father, I give you glory! In Jesus Name, AMEN!
